How to Pay for Your Subscription

Two secure ways to pay — choose what works best for you. All payment methods are fully supported for users in Namibia and are designed to be simple, transparent, and protected by industry-leading security. You can pay instantly with DPO Pay using your card or mobile money, or top up your Meditag Wallet via FNB Namibia EFT and use your balance for subscriptions and future services.

Option A

DPO Pay Instant

Secure online payment gateway supporting cards (Visa, Mastercard) and popular mobile money services in Namibia.

  1. Log into your Patient Dashboard using your registered email address and secure password (or use biometric login on supported mobile devices).
  2. Navigate to the Billing section — this is usually accessible from the main navigation menu or by clicking the Billing tile on your dashboard home screen.
  3. Click the prominent "Add Subscription" button or tile for the plan you wish to purchase (Meditag Lite or Meditag Basic when available).
  4. On the checkout screen, select "DPO Pay" as your preferred payment gateway from the list of available options.
  5. Enter your card details or select your mobile money provider, review the total amount (including any applicable taxes), and confirm the payment. You will be redirected to DPO Pay’s secure hosted page to complete authorization.
Instant activation: Your subscription activates immediately after successful payment. You will receive an instant confirmation email and SMS. DPO Pay uses bank-level encryption and is PCI-DSS compliant for maximum security.
Option B

Meditag Wallet Bank EFT

Top up your personal wallet balance via secure FNB Namibia EFT, then use those funds instantly for any subscription or service.

Step 1: Top Up Your Meditag Wallet

  1. Log in to your Patient Dashboard and click the Wallet icon (located in the main navigation bar or within your profile menu).
  2. Open the "Add Funds" tab, enter the amount you wish to add to your wallet, and click the "Fund Now" button.
  3. Select the payment method "Pay with FNB Namibia EFT". The system will display the official Meditag banking details.
  4. Log in to your FNB Namibia online banking (or visit any FNB branch/ATM) and make an EFT transfer for the exact amount to the account details shown.
  5. In the payment reference / beneficiary reference field, enter your unique Meditag Wallet number (example format: MW-12345). This is the most important step — it allows our system to automatically detect and credit your wallet instantly.

⚠️ IMPORTANT — Always use your wallet account number as the payment reference (e.g. "MW-12345").
This is how Meditag automatically detects your payment and allocates the funds to your personal wallet balance. Payments without the correct reference may experience delays in crediting. If you forget the reference, contact support immediately with your proof of payment.

Step 2: After Your Wallet Top-Up

  1. You will receive an SMS notification on your registered mobile number as soon as the funds are received and successfully credited to your Meditag Wallet.
  2. An email confirmation and official receipt will be sent to your registered email address for your records.
  3. Go to Billing — Open the "Billing" tile on your dashboard home screen, or click "Manage Billing" from your profile dropdown menu.
  4. Click "Add Subscription" and proceed through the checkout flow for your chosen plan.
  5. At the payment gateway selection screen, choose "Meditag Wallet" as your payment method. Your available wallet balance will be displayed and the subscription will be activated instantly upon confirmation.
Wallet balance advantage: Funds in your Meditag Wallet can be used for subscriptions, future consultations, premium features, and other in-app services. Your balance is always visible in real-time on the Wallet screen.
